Former Executives from BEA Systems and Intervoice join MobileAware to Drive Increasing Business with Major System Integrators and Network Equipment Providers Dublin, Ireland - April 24, 2007 - MobileAware, the world's leading provider of Mobile Service Infrastructure, today announced that industry veterans Alan Taylor and Alex Ash have been appointed to co-head the organization's global strategic alliances activities. Mr. Taylor joins MobileAware in its Dallas office as Director of Business Development for the Americas, while Mr. Ash takes on a similar role out of the company's London office to service Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Each will be responsible for creating and guiding commercial efforts with the company's expanding ecosystem of global strategic partners, which use MobileAware's software products to deliver leading mobile business solutions for their Global 2000 clients. Mr. Taylor joins MobileAware with over 25 years of IT industry experience and a successful track record of sales and channel management in Europe and the US. Prior to joining MobileAware, Mr. Taylor served as global alliance director at Intervoice (Nasdaq: INTV), where he managed the company's relationship with BEA Systems worldwide. In this role, he executed a variety of channel development programs within the Intervoice global sales and partner teams and also established alliances with Ericsson, HP and Siemens. Previously, Mr. Taylor served as Intervoice's UK and international business development manager; EMEA business development manager for IBM Software Group; and as a regional account director for Tivoli Systems in Austin, Texas and London. Mr. Ash also has more than 25 years of IT industry experience with a strong background in sales, business development and marketing in EMEA. Prior to joining MobileAware, Mr. Ash spent four years at BEA Systems (Nasdaq: BEAS) where he served as the company's EMEA telecoms business development manager and Hewlett-Packard alliance manager. In his most recent role with BEA, he was responsible for establishing a partner ecosystem with key independent software vendors, system integrators and network equipment providers to drive sales of the BEA WebLogic Communications Platform.
